A Sort of Spring Fever-y Daybook

In which I can’t help but be random and flowery because… it’s spring!

What I’m seeing :: the view outside

((outside my bathroom window))

I had to open the screen and sort of hang out.

It may look like I put a filter on the photo, but it’s just my lousy iPod camera.

(more of the humiliating same)

Mr. Darcy eating himself out of house and home.

On the book pile and in the car CD Player:

Healing the Shame that Binds You by John Bradshaw (fascinating, and I’ll definitely be talking about this in the future)

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling, narrated by Jim Dale (his talent at narration is astounding and I can’t get enough of it)

Boundaries in Marriage by Henry Cloud and John Townsend

and about 19 other books that I probably won’t get to before they are due

Speaking of boundaries…

What I’m reading around the ‘net:

Lisa Grace Byrne has a short video on how people figure out boundaries and how that helps them get along (or not).

20 Things to Stop Letting People Do to You  at Marc and Angel Hack Life

Do you find you have trouble with boundaries as an HSP?

I am thankful for:

Flowers :: spring weather :: a week off from school :: that dh is listening to a book and discussing it with me :: good dentist visit for 6yo

Pondering:

Kelly McGonigal’s TED Talk: How to Make Stress Your Friend . Could it be as simple as reframing?

Curriculum choices for next year.

I’m creating:

Apparently, websites. Lots of websites.  Itching to start knitting something, though. Need yarn.

Plans for the rest of the week:

shoe shopping for 8th grade graduation :: sleep, please? :: a little weeding and spring planting

cleaning.  lots. of. cleaning.
